The Public Relation of PD Pasar Jaya, Agus Lamun acknowledged market revitalization process has been planned since a long time ago. The market itself is a part of 12 markets that will be revitalized in 2016.

“According to the plan, this market indeed about to revitalize in 2016. The market will be integrated with flat,” he uttered, Monday (10/12).

Those markets are Lontar Kebon Melati, Grogol, Rumput, Pasar Minggu, Cempaka Putih, Sindang, Jelambar Polri, Serdang, Jembatan Besi, Sukapura, Sunter Podomoro and the last is Block G Tanah Abang Market.

The plan of 12 integrated markets plan is currently being discussed in Province level. Since it is funding from government capital (PMP), hence the discussion must involve Jakarta legislative Council.

“Special for Rumput Market which construction will fund from APBN budget that issued by Public Housing Ministry,” he disclosed.
